In the early 1900's grand clifftop and beach homes would be considered incomplete without an impressive brass and wood telescope on the balcony to view the ships sailing past - and the originals are now expensive collectors' pieces. Our realistically-priced reproduction with elegant styling makes it highly desirable, but at the same time functional, magnifying 40 times with an object lens of 45mm. Focusing is by finger-tip twist control, from about 40 yards to infinity. The sheesham wood (similar in appearance to teak) tripod has solid brass fittings and is height adjustable on each leg to compensate for uneven surfaces. Brass barrel length 1m(39 1/2), tripod height adjustable from approx 1,100 to 1,800mm (3' 6 to 6')
