Sign type A: Litho
printed metal sign. These signs have high quality ink printing on
fairly thin tin or steel. Edges are rolled, corners are drilled for fixing
purposes. Many of them have shallow embossment to the main image and/or
lettering. Most of them are flat, though a small number are convex in
section. They are really only intended for indoor use - the printing (which
is sharp and vivid) will fade if prolonged exposure to sunlight. |

B: Stove enamelled badge. These are made by kiln firing coloured
glass crystals onto a thick steel base. They are totally rigid and the
colouring is rich and vibrant. The surface can chip if they are dropped or
struck but not easily! They can be used indoors or outdoors. |

C: Stove enamelled sign. These are made in the USA using ground
glass crystals to give rich and vibrant quality. They are totally rigid and
the colouring is rich and vibrant. Very high quality even extends to brass
washers around fixing holes. They can be used indoors or outdoors. |

D: Litho printed embossed sign . These are ink printed onto thin
steel, but steel is deeply convex in section, and has thickly rolled edges
which gives the item a strong rigidity and depth. All main images and
lettering are embossed. These will suffer fading if exposed to strong
sunlight for extended periods so they are really for indoor use. |

E: Wooden wall plaques. These are made from a compressed wood
fibre (board) base, approx. 5mm thick. The image is printed off on a thin
laminate which is applied to the board, then it is cut to the shape of the
image by hand. These are only for indoor use. |

F: Steel parking signs. These are made of very heavy, thick steel
(they weigh well over 1kg!). The lettering and border are heavily embossed.
They are painted with thick enamel paint and can be used outdoors with no
rusting or deterioration. |

Fridge Magnet type
A: The magnet is the full size of the item, with the design
printed on a plasticated, coated surface. These are high quality, factory
produced magnets - NOT the cheap home made "piece of paper inside an acrylic
holder" type that are so commonplace! |

B: These are made in USA - the image is enamel paint applied onto
strong metal sheet (rigid), and a small magnet is glued to the back. Very
high quality images. Could be used outdoors without deteriorating if
required! |

stuck to the back - many are also die cut to the shape of the image |

A (stove enamelled): Beautiful high quality stove enamelling on a
thick and rigid steel body with glass thermometer tube. Can be used outside
if required with no long term deterioration |

B (powder coated): Steel body, powder coated with printed image.
The manufacturer says they can be used outdoors though I suspect the
printing may be subject to fading eventually if in direct sunlight - though
we are probably talking years! |

Wooden Clocks:
These are identical to the wooden wall plaques (described above),
but with a hole drilled in the middle and a good quality clock movement
fitted |
