Here is your chance to become a Zookeeper for the day. This is a unique opportunity to get close to some very rare and special animals. The animals you might be working with include Clouded Leopards, Brazilian Ocelots, Jaguarundi, Lemurs, Saki Monkeys, Lesser Anteaters, Dwarf Crocodiles, Malayan Tapirs, Cuban Flamingos as well as a variety of other fascinating creatures. You will be zookeeper for a day at a centre in Kent that forms part of the Rare Species Conservation Trust, which is a registered UK charity dedicated to the preservation of the worlds lesser known rare and endangered species.
What happens on the day: Your session will start at 9am with a safety briefing. During the morning you will be assisting with animal feeds, before stopping to have your own lunch! In the afternoon you will be involved with other activities such as helping clean out the animals’ cages and maybe getting personal with an animal or two! You will be the only participant on the course so this is a unique opportunity to get close to some very rare and special animals. |
