Split Pair Bookends - Mozart Opera House
The National Theatre of Prague (Tyl or Estate Theatre) was one venue in which Mozart chose to present many of his first performances. The theatre had special significance to Mozart as his audiences were loyal and appreciative over many years. This winged theatre of balanced design has both grace and style. As a bookend it has always been very popular not only because of its association with Mozart but also because
it is very pleasing in its own right. These bookends are made using British gypsum plaster which allows highly exquisite detail. Additional detail is made using thin metal leaf. Dimensions: W 23cm (9") H 19cm (7.5") D 8.25cm (3.25").
