Shove Halfpenny Board for playing Shove Ha'penny - by John Jaques (91660)
The famous English pub game in which players try to shove old English ha'penny coins up a board so that they fall between the horizontal lines. The board is made from solid quarter sawn mahogany in the same traditional way as they were made over 100 years ago and have scoring strips down the side, a wooden retaining board at the end and come complete with a set of genuine old English halfpennies. The board is 3.2cm (1.25”) thick and measures 56cm (22”) x 33cm (13”).
