At The Present Finder we are committed to protecting your privacy. We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service.

We do not disclose buyers information to third parties.

We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent.

We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us or from another trader in the future.

The type of information we will collect about you includes:

Credit/debit card details are collected by Debitech using a strongly encrypted connection directly to the bank. The Present Finder does not have access to any information about the card or your bank account. The DebiTech secure server software (SSL) is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions.

We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent.

The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.

The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law and the Which? Web Trader Code.

If we intend to transfer your information outside the EEA (European Economic Area) we will always obtain your consent first.

We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. This can include using a "cookie" which would be stored on your browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening. The information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you modify your browser settings.

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse though the categories, click on any item you wish to buy and put them in your "shopping basket". After you have finished your selection, click on "Checkout" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to satisfy your order.

We accept credit and debit card purchases. Alternatively you may send us your credit card details via phone, fax, post or in an e-mail.

We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

All prices are inclusive of VAT and delivery within UK mainland. For deliveries outside UK mainland please telephone 01935 815195 or email info@thepresentfinder.co.uk for details quoting the supplier's name.

All items will be shipped to you by the supplier as soon as possible - normally within 14 days. For some hand made items this period may be longer and this is indicated under the description of the item. The Present Finder Ltd is in constant contact with its suppliers and if any un expected delay is predicted, you will be informed.

If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase please contact us straight away and we will ensure complete satisfaction.

In line with The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, you are fully entitled to cancel your order after you have made a purchase. This must be done within seven days of receiving the goods and full re-payment (less postage) will be made to you within 30 days.

This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
